As announced on March 20, the Ministry of Education has released a notice regarding the 2024 National College Entrance Exams. The announcement clarifies that the national unified exams will commence on June 7.

The specific exam schedule is as follows:

  • June 7, 9:00 to 11:30 AM: Chinese Language

  • June 7, 3:00 to 5:00 PM: Mathematics

  • June 8, 9:00 to 11:30 AM: Comprehensive Science/Comprehensive Humanities

  • June 8, 3:00 to 5:00 PM: Foreign Language

For students taking the Foreign Language exam, the listening portion will typically take place prior to the written exam.

With less than 100 days remaining before the exams, many high schools are holding commencement ceremonies to encourage and motivate their senior students as they prepare to ascend to a new peak in their academic journey.

Experts emphasize that with under 100 days left, students should focus on reinforcing fundamental knowledge and skills.

For mathematics, students should systematically review incorrect questions and reflect on the reasoning behind their mistakes. They should analyze the concepts and application methods tested in these questions, self-assess their understanding of these concepts, and integrate their learnings into their knowledge system.

For English reading comprehension, students should approach questions from the perspective of the text and minimize personal biases. When completing cloze tests, they should pay attention to context and the overall narrative and logical flow of the passage.

In English writing, students need to capture the tone of the piece, use appropriate linking words to connect sentences, and balance the use of long and short sentences, avoiding repetitive vocabulary and sentence structures.

Moreover, emotions play a crucial role in studying and preparing for exams. Viewing the same situation from different perspectives can evoke different emotions, leading to varied outcomes.

Therefore, students should develop the ability to consider issues from diverse viewpoints and adjust their emotions accordingly. They should learn to manage their emotions effectively during the preparation process, maintaining an optimal state of mind. s_8266dd67c59c406bb4311792391505f5.jpg
